While other regions have already started to address this challenge, Latam has not made significant progress yet in that direction. Despite our region continues to be a key producer of animal protein (1st in beef production, 3rd in poultry meat production) and the raw materials used for their feeding (1st in soybean production, 3rd in corn production), it has not yet seriously developed the plant-based protein industry, the one that will have an important positive impact in our environment. These plant-based proteins will be the key ingredient for a healthier and more sustainable diet. Our main objective is to rebuild the Latam food matrix, from the farms to the final client, develop the plant-based proteins, and position our region as the main producer of this industry, among the actual ones.

We have two actions plans to achieve this:

1. 1. Working along with the farmers: we offer a closed circle scheme where we provide farmers with cutting-edge seeds, also providing them with technical assistance and following up during the whole growing season, ensuring them a demand for their products.
2. 2. Working along with food producers: we provide them with functional plant-based ingredients based on their needs, ensuring both quality and quantity, with complete traceability all along the supply chain.
